Required papers in Japan Yokohama University Scholarships:
For the October 2021 registration application, applicants must submit the following documents by email and postal mail, subject to the COVID-19 status. The PDF copies of the following documents (1, 2 and 3) must arrive at the correspondence E-mail address no later than December 20, 2020. All original documents (1, 2, 3 and 4) also arrive at the mailing address by postal mail (including Fedex, DHL, etc.) no later than January 15, 2021.

- Each letter must be in a sealed envelope with the signature of the testator on the flap of the envelope and it must be sent to the mailing address directly.
How to choose in the Yokohama University Japan Scholarships:
The determination will be made by the program based on the documents provided. The evaluation of applications is based on the applicant's academic achievements in previous grades, research potential assessed from academic documents, letters of recommendation, field of interest, and study plan.
During the selection process, shortlisted candidates may be asked to conduct an interview via email / Skype or other appropriate means. The applicant will be notified of the outcome of the selection by mid-March 2021.
Selected applicants will be required to fill out the most detailed application forms and other documents for the official procedure. The lists of candidates selected by the program are sent to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) for final approval. The program will announce the final selection result of the selected applicants and make arrangements for Yokohama National University registration. The final scholarship confirmation from MEXT will be at the end of July 2021.
